Since 1992, Dianne Berkun Menaker and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus have done so much. Over the course of our history, we have:

• Given over $1,000,000 in scholarships & financial aid

• Served more than 12,000 exceptional young singers

• Commissioned more than 120 pieces of new music

• Sent nearly 100% of graduates on to a 4-year college

Now, 28 years later, we find ourselves at a crossroads, facing an unprecedented challenge. You can help.

The #28for28 campaign has a simple premise. We're asking you - all of you - to join together in support of our core mission: to nurture and develop the young singers of New York City through the highest quality music education and the creation of new works.

If every person in our community gives $28 in support of our 28 years of service to New York City youth, we'll meet our $250,000 fundraising goal and get through these uncertain times. Together.
